Welcome! Tally ho!

Our B.V.I. Adventure is designed to give our family, friends and any other interested followers a look into the life of two expatriates making their way on the island of Tortola. Tortola is the largest island in the British Virgin Islands.

So, why did we move 2,000 miles away from our home in Knoxville, Tennessee? Michael accepted a position as the director of retail and international sales for a Caribbean clothing brand.

Cheers!

Day 200: Brian, Beth and the Flanagan Clan Arrives!

Our friends Brian and Beth arrived in the BVI on Day 200!  There won't be any airport arrival photos because they flew into St. Thomas, and caught a ferry.  They are chartering with Beth's family on a beautiful blue catamaran.

Their captain took them to Myett's in Cane Garden Bay at 6:00 and Brian sent us a message on Facebook, asking us to join them.  After Michael got off of work, we headed over the mountain and surprised them!  It's just about a 20 minute drive.

It was great to see them and enjoy happy hour at Myett's.  We have a lot to celebrate!  Brian just graduated from LSU and is now - officially - an orthodontist!
They're going to have a great week in the BVI and we plan to meet up with them at other stops on their journey!  Oh, and Beth is a loyal follower of Our BVI Adventure and was excited to finally be apart of a post!  Cheers!
