Welcome! Tally ho!
Our B.V.I. Adventure is designed to give our family, friends and any other interested followers a look into the life of two expatriates making their way on the island of Tortola. Tortola is the largest island in the British Virgin Islands.
So, why did we move 2,000 miles away from our home in Knoxville, Tennessee? Michael accepted a position as the director of retail and international sales for a Caribbean clothing brand.

Folo: The Band
You may remember, Michael, Adam and Pier formed a band a month or so ago. Thanks to Adam's persistence, he found a set of drums here on the island, which meant they could rehearse up at Adam's house regularly.
They're sounding great! Their song list is really coming together. They're playing everything from rock to reggae. A few of my favorite tunes are by the Grateful Dead, Johnny Cash and Paul Simon.
A big thank you to all that participated in the "naming the band" poll here on OurBVIAdventure. While High Turnover and Full Moon Disclosure were the most popular, the band has decided to go with...
LET'S BE FRIENDS!
Their first paying gig is on Sunday night at The Elm at Cane Garden Bay. I'll be sure to record some video so you can see and hear them in action. Let's be friends!

It would definitely be worth explaining the name decision and it's origin - but we might need to get video of Charles for that.
